The Mariners Club is about you and your friends and family making the most of your time on the water. Nothing makes for more of a headache than a boat that won't start, has a dead battery or is dirty when bringing guests out for an afternoon. The Mariners Club fleet of top of the line meticulously maintained boats will make going boating an incredibly easy experience.

The Mariners Club is about having fun! Boating in Door County is one of the best ways to enjoy your time on the peninsula. The waters offer privacy, places to explore and endless hours of swimming and relaxing. Whether you are going fishing with the guys, swimming with the kids, or catching a sunset with someone special, The Mariners Club has the boat to fit your needs.

The Mariners Club is about a first class experience. Our fleet of boats will be well equipped with GPS locators, chartplotters and a ship to shore radio to assist you in navigation and allow club staff to be of any assistance while you are out on the water. Also, our club crew will have your boat waiting for you with a full tank of gas, as well as fresh linens and your choice of food and drinks waiting in an iced down cooler.

Who may operate the boat?
Whether you are new to the water or an experienced boater, all members will be required to demonstrate their basic safety knowledge and boating skills prior to venturing out on their own, by becoming a Designated Boat Captain. Your safety is our first priority. The Mariners Club will offer complementary on water training for members who may need some behind the wheel time to help gain their confidence and practice their basic boating skills.

Can I share a membership?
Yes. So long as the other person is a family member. Our memberships allow for two Captains to share the reservations, and an additional captain may be added for a small fee.

How many guests may be brought along?
The "captain" may invite as many guests as the Club's boats stated capacity. Most of our boats will handle 6-8 people.

Can I get a boat on weekends and holidays?
Most definitely. Weekends and holidays will be busy, so plan ahead. Our reservation system will allow members to keep two reservations on the books at a time. Also, members can always call down to the club to see if there is a boat that is available without using a reservation. Also, if a member is out for the current session, and no one has reserved the following session, then the member is able to keep the boat during the next session without using a reservation.

How do I schedule?
Our scheduling will be handled primarily through our on-line reservation system, but members may also call down to or stop by the club at anytime to check availability and make a reservation.

Are there additional costs or fees?
NO. There are no hidden or additional fees. Members will be charged for fuel usage when returning a boat and billed out automatically at the end of each month. Your Annual Due entitles you and another captain unlimited use of the clubs fleet all season!

What do I need to know about boating?
While it is always helpful to have boating experience, it is not required. Our members will be required to complete a basic boater safety course and an on the water training session in The Mariners School prior to being allowed access to the fleet. For some, this may take an hour, for others it may take a day of preparation before venturing out. All of our boats will be well equipped with not only the required safety devices, but extra measures will also be taken to assure everyone's safety while on the water.

Do I need special gear or equipment?
No, all safety gear that is required by law will be provided. Additionally, some boats will be equipped with GPS Chartplotters as well as maps and charts of the local waters. All members will be expected to stay in the waters of Green Bay, and will be asked to avoid certain areas that can be shallow or dangerous.
